BAY WOOF
ROVER REPORTS

Thanks to Lynna Wong for contacting Lisa Ferreira at Bay Woof.
A very nice no nonsense report on not only OB but other open areas under threat. (January/February 2009).
Next we need to be a destination on their dog park map.  Please let them know that Oyster Bay Regional Shoreline is a fantastic place to play.

OUT HOUSE ARRIVES

It looked like the installation of the new outhouse would be delayed by rain, but it is now available to all those in need. It is located on the big road, north of where the old one was. David was assured in October by the EBparks Board, that the outhouse would be here, and by Jove it is.

Please let Mike Anderson, Staff and your Board member know that they did a good thing.

Stenzel Park BALL FIELDS

to be locked to keep dogs out.   Dogs were seen to be defecating and the owners not picking it up immediately. Joyce Starosciak, (Council Member for District 4 (Washington Manor) will ask the council to pass a resolution prohibiting dogs in any City field designated a play field. They will be posted “No Dogs Allowed” so the police can enforce the leash laws.   The only two unofficial off leash areas in the City of San Leandro will be Oyster Bay Regional Shoreline and the area at the Marina.
