80,000+ CUBIC YARDS
Dredge Spoils
Per the San Leandro Times, another 80,000 cubic yards of dredge spoils are coming to Oyster Bay from dredging in the San Leandro Marina channel. This will be used for filling and contouring, such as what's been going all all spring, and went on last year. Please let the Board know if your favorite area or view is impacted by the grading. And let them know now! We do not want to be told it is too expensive to make a change later. We have already heard that it is too expensive to change signage, and too late in the season to reclaim trails that are now overgrown. Send email to rtrujillo@ebparks.org and rdsidens@ebparks.org.
